Eyelash Growers And The Skin Around The Eyes

Monday, October 31st, 2011

Once you have started to use eyelash growers it is not only important to keep up with the use of the product, but you should also pay particular attention to looking after the delicate skin around the eyes. What’s the point of drawing attention to your eyes when the skin begins to wrinkle! Here are a few good tips on how to look after your skin around the eyes.

To help you keep the skin around your eye area looking young, you should start using a tender hand when putting on creams or makeup products. Pulling and rubbing the delicate skin about your eyes can lead to early wrinkles. You should use a patting motion using the pads of your fingers rather than rubbing.

Be extremely gentle to the vicinity close to your eyes, specifically when taking off eye makeup. The skin of the region around the eye is thin and fragile, and also the first region to exhibit signs of aging.

Use a folded face tissue steeped with a few droplets of baby oil, unfolded, and pressed for several seconds on each closed eye lid, followed by gradually wiping outward from the inner part of the eye, will get rid of eye makeup safely, delicately, and cheaply.

You can give your self a really beneficial facial restorative massage. A facial massage assists the skin to take in oils and moisturizers significantly more rapidly. Dispense a tiny amount of oil or moisturizer in your hands. Work your moisturizer or oil in your skin all around your face in a circular movement, making sure to steer clear of the eyes.

If you want to pamper the skin on a spending budget, you need to try out an at-home facial. The steps in the procedure are first to clean, exfoliate, open your pores, and administer a mask for about ten minutes. When the mask is on, chill out and treat your eyes with either cucumber slices or fresh steeped tea bags. Lastly, rinse off the mask after which put on moisturizer to you skin.

An excellent tip for keeping your skin is to stop smoking. Smoking causes wrinkles to build up about the upper lip, eyes, brow, and cheeks. Smokers develop a lot more wrinkles and have a lot dryer skin than individuals that don’t smoke. Smoker’s lines are much deeper than regular wrinkles.

If you want to stay away from acquiring wrinkles within your old age, try wearing sunglasses whenever you’re outside in bright sunshine. It’s been shown that squinting so that you are able to see properly while in bright sunlight could be a cause of lines and wrinkles about the eyes. A standard pair of sunglasses from your dollar store can keep you from squinting and protect you against wrinkles.

A great skin care tip would be to usually make sure you get sufficient sleep. Lack of sleep can result in a formation of wrinkles under the eyes. Try to get a minimum of eight hours of sleep each and every night to keep your skin looking healthy and to always keep your anxiety down.

Why pay a great deal of attention to your eye make-up and eyelashes if you’re not planning to look after the skin close to the eyes as well? One method to boost the appearance of your eyes, would be to use an eyelash grower. Read some of the reviews on this site if you are interested.

Where To Buy False Eyelashes

Wednesday, April 13th, 2011

You have many choices on where to buy false eyelashes and if you are asking, I wouldn’t mind betting that you may want to know how to put on false eyelashes as well. Here, we will give you a quick run-down on both.

False eyelashes can be purchased in the chemist/drug store or supermarket, in your local beauticians and of course, online. If you purchase from your beautician, you are likely to benefit from some useful advice. If you are new to false eyelashes, this may prove useful. The downside of buying in this way is that your choice is likely to be more limited.

If you buy in the High Street, you will able to easily examine the different types and makes of lashes available, as well as compare prices. However, many people today prefer to search the Internet as this often tends to provide a wider choice of product and prices with your choice being delivered through your letterbox! Pyjama shopping is usually my choice!

You could of course buy from the really cheap shops, but I wouldn’t recommend the really cheap false eyelashes as these are the ones that will look the worst and be most likely to cause irritation. Up to you, but for me I wouldn’t risk it as you may end up wasting your money anyway.

That’s where to buy false eyelashes, so what about how to put on false eyelashes? If you are new to false eyelashes, try using half strips or small clumps before moving on to full strips of eyelashes. Always use clear glue and squeeze a bit onto a piece of stiff card or plastic. Use a cocktail stick and transfer a thin strip of the glue along the base of the false lashes, with a little extra at each end if you are using full strips. Wait a couple of seconds until it’s tacky.

Hole the lash strip carefully and push on as close to your natural lash as possible starting at the outside corner of the eye. Use a cotton bud to gently push down into place and pat until it stays down. Run a little eyeliner over to conceal the strip and bind to your lashes with mascara.

When you remove the lashes before you go to sleep and use a recommended solvent first. Do not just pull them off or you will take your own lashes with them!

To summarise, where to buy false eyelashes is really down to you and how you like to shop. How to put on false eyelashes is not as difficult as you may think. With practice, they will stay down all day but it is recommended you begin with the small clumps rather than full strips.

Quick Tip On Curling Eyelashes Without Using A Heated Eyelash Curler!

Saturday, March 26th, 2011

OK, so you have your gorgeous long eyelashes, but now you want to curl them. Problem…. you don’t like eyelash curlers, especially a heated eyelash curler, so how do you do it?

It’s really quite simple, bit messy and time consuming, but it can be done. Here’s how.

You need to load up your lashes, top and bottom, with plenty of mascara. Then, while it’s still wet (this is the messy bit), using your fingers or a cotton bud and starting from the outside, gently push your lashes upwards from the roots. Keep going back and forth until the mascara has set.

Next, you may have to touch up the mascara a little and wash your hands!

This is an ideal procedure if you really don’t like eyelash curlers as it’s far more natural and gentle. The downside is the mascara may appear a bit ‘clumpy’, and you’ll probably just have to live with that.
