Eyelash extensions overtaking Botox treatments

Despite the troubled economy, people are still availing of facial treatments. This year’s most popular growing application among women is lash extensions, overtaking the previous year’s top ranking Botox applications. Also gaining ground are Botox injections among men as well.

It’s no wonder why women are crazy about beautiful eyelash extensions. One look at portraits of queens and princesses of ancient Egypt and you’re sure to notice that they all had camel-length lashes. For years, even celebrities have been known to put on false eyelashes in order to enhance their appearance on top of their makeup, with the likes of Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus being part of the lot.

Only very recently have experts been able to discover ways of speeding up the process of acquiring rights in order to work on non-prescription products such as semi-permanent eyelashes. Such products provide longer and thicker lashes that are easier to apply when compared to surgical eyelash implants.
