Eyelash Grower Tips

Lash Dip is quite new on the market and can be used as an alternative to an eyelash tint. It compliments and enhances any eyelash growth products you may already use.  So, if you have had enough of mascara and want something that adds volume and a little length to your lashes and cuts down the time it takes you to do your makeup, then Lash Dip may be a good option for you.

Lash Dip needs to be applied professionally. This is probably best, because it is easier for someone else to sculpt and separate the lashes to increase the look of volumised lashes.

The ingredients of Lash Dip are hypoallergenic and it does not contain formaldehyde or aniline that is often found in the commercial eyelash tints. Once applied and set, you can shower, bathe, swim and sweat yourself right through the summer and it won’t affect the look of your lashes. You do need to wait a couple of hours after it has been applied before getting your lashes in any way damp, so be careful if you go out in the rain! Also, don’t swim or use hot water near your eyes for 24 hours, or you could find yourself with some lovely panda eyes!

An application lasts about 6 weeks until your lashes start to grow through and may become visible. Remember though that Lash Dip degrades naturally, so this may not be an issue. If it is, you can always get a top-up.

As for cost, you are looking at around $120 for the initial professional application and a third of that for a top-up. If you want a second application, this will cost a little more because any remaining dip to be stripped off first.

Before you decide on a Lash Dip, here are a few things you should and should not do.

Make sure you use oil-free makeup remover and pat your lashes dry afterwards. It is also wise to use LashSeal two or three times a week to keep your lashes clean. As always with the eyes, don’t rub or pull at your lashes. If you usually use an eyelash curler (especially not a heated one), this is not a good idea when using Lash Dip. You should keep away from the sauna as well because this is a bit of an extreme treatment for Lash Dip.

Great news is that you can also use it along with any eyelash grower serum you may be using, as the two will complement each other well. However, it may be advisable to not apply any serum for three days after your Lash Dip treatment as a precaution.

So, if you have short lashes, and especially if these are fair, Lash Dip may prove a good alternative to mascara for you.
