Eyelash Growers And The Skin Around The Eyes

Monday, October 31st, 2011

Once you have started to use eyelash growers it is not only important to keep up with the use of the product, but you should also pay particular attention to looking after the delicate skin around the eyes. What’s the point of drawing attention to your eyes when the skin begins to wrinkle! Here are a few good tips on how to look after your skin around the eyes.

To help you keep the skin around your eye area looking young, you should start using a tender hand when putting on creams or makeup products. Pulling and rubbing the delicate skin about your eyes can lead to early wrinkles. You should use a patting motion using the pads of your fingers rather than rubbing.

Be extremely gentle to the vicinity close to your eyes, specifically when taking off eye makeup. The skin of the region around the eye is thin and fragile, and also the first region to exhibit signs of aging.

Use a folded face tissue steeped with a few droplets of baby oil, unfolded, and pressed for several seconds on each closed eye lid, followed by gradually wiping outward from the inner part of the eye, will get rid of eye makeup safely, delicately, and cheaply.

You can give your self a really beneficial facial restorative massage. A facial massage assists the skin to take in oils and moisturizers significantly more rapidly. Dispense a tiny amount of oil or moisturizer in your hands. Work your moisturizer or oil in your skin all around your face in a circular movement, making sure to steer clear of the eyes.

If you want to pamper the skin on a spending budget, you need to try out an at-home facial. The steps in the procedure are first to clean, exfoliate, open your pores, and administer a mask for about ten minutes. When the mask is on, chill out and treat your eyes with either cucumber slices or fresh steeped tea bags. Lastly, rinse off the mask after which put on moisturizer to you skin.

An excellent tip for keeping your skin is to stop smoking. Smoking causes wrinkles to build up about the upper lip, eyes, brow, and cheeks. Smokers develop a lot more wrinkles and have a lot dryer skin than individuals that don’t smoke. Smoker’s lines are much deeper than regular wrinkles.

If you want to stay away from acquiring wrinkles within your old age, try wearing sunglasses whenever you’re outside in bright sunshine. It’s been shown that squinting so that you are able to see properly while in bright sunlight could be a cause of lines and wrinkles about the eyes. A standard pair of sunglasses from your dollar store can keep you from squinting and protect you against wrinkles.

A great skin care tip would be to usually make sure you get sufficient sleep. Lack of sleep can result in a formation of wrinkles under the eyes. Try to get a minimum of eight hours of sleep each and every night to keep your skin looking healthy and to always keep your anxiety down.

Why pay a great deal of attention to your eye make-up and eyelashes if you’re not planning to look after the skin close to the eyes as well? One method to boost the appearance of your eyes, would be to use an eyelash grower. Read some of the reviews on this site if you are interested.

Looking For The Best Eyelash Growers?

Sunday, April 10th, 2011

If you are looking for the best eyelash grower, you are in for a confusing time. One could be excused from saying that the best eyelash grower for you, is simply the one that works! Finding it is another thing though.

So what do you look for? A quick look at eyelash grower reviews and you will note that what a tube contains varies; so how long will it last? It is wise to remember that most eyelash growers are only applied once a day, and in the same way. There are a few that require twice daily application so do check the instructions before you buy. Now for a little math. If a tube contains 5ml and costs $5 and another 10ml and costs $12 you’d be better off with the smaller tube. However, if the 5ml has to be used twice a day the 10ml tube would be cheaper. (I do hope I worked that out right!)

As rule-of-thumb, one fluid ounce of product will last you about two months.

When looking for the best eyelash growers, some get confused by the cheaper eyelash enhancers. The clue is in the name, an enhancer is as the name implies and just improves the look of your lashes, it does not make them grow thicker and longer like the eyelash growers.

Check out the ‘clinical trials’, sounds impressive, but it often isn’t when you look at exactly what they say. No doubt some do have exceptional results, but what about the rest? Just take it with a pinch of salt and you’ll be fine.

In your search for longer thicker eyelashes, if you think you may have a reaction to the serum because you are often sensitive to things on your skin be very careful. Although these products are fine for most people, you could be the exception and should therefore stop using it at the first sign of irritation or if it changes the colour of your eye or the skin around it. It can happen in rare circumstances, so I suggest when you first try eyelash growers, do it at a weekend.

Sorry if the above sounds scary, but in your search for the best eyelash grower, you need to be aware that these things ‘may’ happen. These products have all passed the necessary requirements to be on sale, but everyone is different in how they may react to them.

While I hope the above helps, and indeed the rest of the articles on this site, do your own research and I’m sure one of the eyelash growers out there will be the one for you. I prefer Idol Lash first, or LiLash would be my second choice. You may prefer another.

Which Is The Best Eyelash Grower?

Which is the best eyelash grower?

As more and more people ask which is the best eyelash grower, more and more products seem to come on the market. You can get them for as little as $5 up to well over a $100, but choosing the right one is difficult. Also, not all eyelash grower serums are available in every country. Many are specific to the US and many to the UK with more sporadic availability elsewhere.

One big problem when deciding which is the best eyelash grower is working out just how much product is in the tube and how long it will last! Some report shipping weight, some report serums in fluid ounces and others in ml – it’s just confusing. I have tried to work out the actual serum weight here, but as I’ve had to convert in some cases, it may be a little out. As a broad rule-of-thumb, one ounce of product will last around two months if used correctly.

One more thing, don’t get confused by enhancers and an eyelash grower. An enhancer conditions and improves the look of what you have, while a growth serum also increases growth as the name implies.

Many eyelash growth products contain Prostaglandin, which can in some cases cause a degree of eye colour change. Also look out for methylchloroisothiazalinone (think I’ve spelt it right!), as in high quantities, this may cause pigmentation changes. These are of course not the only possible ingredients that may cause problems but be assured; products do need to be of a certain standard to be available for sale in the first place.

What you will find on these pages are my interpretation of what I have personally found, do not take it as gospel. While I hope it helps, please do your own research before deciding which is the best eyelash grower for you.
