Using Eyelash Grower Serum

Don’t you just think it’s so unfair that Great Uncle Fred has been blessed with those long, thick eyelashes that we would give our eye teeth for! However, everyone is different and if you lose your eyelashes either through pulling them, illness or accident then you are likely to want to find an eyelash grower that works, and fast.

First, a little about eyelash loss. One thing you should remember is that like the hair on your head, your eyelashes will fall out regularly but they will also replace themselves over four to eight weeks (longer if they have suffered a lot of damage). If you wear contact lenses eyelash loss will usually be greater. As people age, this process slows considerably and your eyelashes will never be as full as they were when you were younger. If you haven’t already tried an eyelash growth serum, then maybe this is a good time to do it.

Other things that affect eyelash growth apart from pulling them, is rubbing, curling, cleaning so you need to be careful and keep your eyelashes healthy. Those who suffer from an underperforming thyroid gland are also likely to lose small clumps of eyelashes.

There are a few things you can do and the most convenient is probably a really good mascara that is designed to lengthen and thicken the lashes you have. However, such mascaras can be harder to remove and make even more eyelashes fall out in the process. Therefore, greater care must be taken when cleaning the eyes. You could also use fake eyelashes but these need to be glued into place along the eyelash line so again, when you take them off there is a possibility that you may pull out your own eyelashes. Eyelash extensions can also be used and this is where individual lashes are glued next to your own. This process can be expensive and if your problem is habitual eyelash pulling, or eye rubbing, it may not solve your problem. You could also consider eyelash implants, but this isn’t for the faint hearted and is prohibitively expensive! I prefer to find out how to get long eyelashes naturally.

Now let’s look at eyelash grower serums. Such products normally include Bimatoprost or Latanoprost that of course are not so natural! They are safe to use providing you don’t over use the product in the belief that it may help the lashes grow even quicker. Applying the eyelash grower serum close to the root will see a difference in just two to four weeks on average.

Examples of an eyelash grower serum include Idol Lash, RapidLash and LiLash. Elsewhere on this site you will find eyelash grower reviews.

Important ….. If you live in the UK, we still recommend the following eyelash grower; Idol Lash or visit our UK site at www.eyelashgrower.co.uk for more information.

Will A Heated Eyelash Curler Work?

Monday, October 4th, 2010

When you have your long, thicker eyelashes even if you didn’t have to use an eyelash grower to get them, the next thing you may what to do is to curl them. A heated eyelash curler is what you need and thankfully, you can get these quite cheaply. Personally, I think these are better than using eyelash perms in that with perms, you really need to be careful with in case you hurt your eyes.

You will find using a heated eyelash curler will be painless, fast and effective if you get the right ones. What you are looking for are a fast heat-up time but that don’t feel like they ‘burn’. Your lashes should curl in less than 10 seconds and hold the curl for several hours.

In our humble opinion, the Panasonic EH2351AC heated eyelash curler is certainly worth a look. Coming in around $12 makes them affordable to try.

If you now have long, thicker eyelashes that need curling, then a heated eyelash curler will do that for you if you get the right ones. If you are still trying to decide whether an eyelash grower serum is for you, I suggest you check out the rest of this site to help you decide.
